Dessert: Sweet Khir Potol

 Ingredients and Quantity (or Amount)

1.    Potol or Parval (6 pieces)

2.    Khir (200 grams)

3.    Sugar (300 grams)

4.    Cardamom powder (1/2 teaspoon)

5.    Ghee (100 grams)

6.    Raisin (12-15 pieces)

7.    Flour (1 tablespoon)

8.    Tabak (2 sheets)

9.    Rose water (4 tablespoons)

Method:

Peel off the skin of the potol and cut off one side of it to make a small opening to take the seeds out.

Prepare a syrup of sugar by boiling water and adding sugar into it. Mix the khir with the sugar syrup, add cardamom powder, raisins and set aside.

Fry the potol until brown on slow heat. Once the potols are cooled off, take one potol in the left hand and push the khir mix inside the potol through the opening and seal off the opening with flour mixed in water.

Dip the stuffed potols in syrup and sprinkle with rose water. Cover each potol with tabak pieces.
