Dessert: Simayer Payesh

 Ingredients and Quantity (or Amount)

1.    Milk (1 litre)

2.    Flour noddle (25 grams)

3.    Sugar (1 cup)

4.    Bay leaves (2 pieces)

5.    Cardamom powder (1 teaspoon)

6.    Raisins (2 tablespoons)

7.    Cashew nuts (9-10 pieces)

8.    Vanilla flavor (3-4 drops)

9.    Ghee (1 tablespoon)

Method:

Heat up a pan and add ghee and fry the noodle in it until they are light brown. Set aside the noodles.

Boil milk on slow heat and add bay leaves, raisins and cashew nuts. When the milk has thickened, add the noodles, cardamom powder and vanilla flavor. Once the mix is quite thick, turn off the heat.

Cool the mix and serve the simayer payesh at room temperature.
