Non-Veg: Butter Chicken Masala
Ingredients and Quantity (or Amount)
1. Chicken (500 grams)
2. Plain Yogurt (200 grams)
3. Kashmiri chili powder (2 tablepoons)
4. Butter (100 grams)
5. Lemon juice (1 tablespoon)
6. Onion paste (2 tablespoons)
7. Garlic paste (2 tablepoons)
8. Ginger paste (2 tablespoons)
9. Papaya paste (1 tablespoon)
10. Turmeric (1/2 tablespoon)
11. Salt (1 tablespoon)
12. Sugar (1/2 tablespoon)
13. Oil (4 tablespoons)
Method:
Marinate the chicken with yogurt, Kashmiri chili powder, lemon juice, onion paste, garlic, ginger and papaya paste, salt and sugar and turmeric.
Heat a pan and add butter. Then add the chicken. Cook chicken for a few minutes. Add ½ cup hot water and cover the pan. When chicken is cooked well, add garam masala and a couple of slices of butter on top (will melt shortly).
