Veg: Paneer Butter Masala
Ingredients and Quantity (or Amount)
1. Paneer (1 ½ pound)
2. Onion (2 medium sized)
3. Tomato (2 medium sized)
4. Whole red chili (10 pieces)
5. Butter (1 stick)
6. Salt (to taste)
7. Turmeric (2 tablespoons)
8. Kashmiri chili powder (2 tablespoons)
9. Kashuri methi (1/2 tablespoon)
10. Cream (1 /2 cup)
11. Khoa Khir (1/2 cup)
12. Garam Masala (2 tablespoons)
13. Sugar (1 teaspoon)
Method
Heat a pan on medium flame and add oil. Fry the diced onion until brown and then add the while chili. Fry it for a few minutes and then add the cut-up tomatoes, add a little salt. Turn the heat off and cool the contents of the pan. And then blend it in a blender and set it aside.
Heat a separate pan and add butter to it. Then add Kashmiri chili powder, turmeric, cream, khoa khir, sugar, kashuri methi. Then add the mixture of onion, tomato etc. and add 1 cup of hot water.
Now add the paneer pieces. Let is cook for a few minutes and then add garam masala and butter.
