Non-Veg: Bahari Rui

 Ingredients and Quantity (or Amount)

1.    Rui fish (500 grams)

2.    Onion crushed (2 medium sized)

3.    Garlic (10 pieces)

4.    Tomato (2 medium)

5.    Five seeds spice (panch phoron) (1/2 tablespoon)

6.    Turmeric (1/2 tablespoon)

7.    Green chili (8 pieces)

8.    Mustard paste (4 tablespoons)

9.    Salt (1 tablespoon)

10. Oil (1/2 cup)

Method:

Clean the fish. Use salt and turmeric mix as rub for the fish. Fry the fish till both sides are brown.

Add oil in pan and then add five seeds spice (panch phoron), green chili, onion and crushed garlic. When onion is brown, add tomato, water (1/2 cup) and Mustard paste. Let it boil for a few minutes and then add fish pieces. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Turn off the heat.

Serve with rice.
