Dessert: Balushai
Ingredients and Quantity (or Amount)
1. Flour (4 cups)
2. Yogurt (100 grams)
3. Oil (2 cups)
4. Sugar (2 cups)
5. Baking powder (1 pinch)
Method:
Heat
up a pan and add 2 cups of water and sugar in it to make a sugar syrup.
In a
bowl mix flour with yogurt, 2 tablespoons oil, baking powder. Make a dough.
Make
small balls and press with finger to make an indent in each.
Heat
the pan and add oil and fry each of the balls, more than one if possible, at a
time, until they are golden brown. Put them into the sugar syrup previously
prepared. Once the sugar syrup is absorbed by the fried balls, take them out
and place them on a separate platter. Let it cool.
Serve
at room temperature or slightly warm for best taste.
