Dessert: Cham Cham
Ingredients and Quantity (or Amount)
1. Paneer (300 grams)
2. Sugar (250 grams)
3. Flour (4 tablespoons)
4. Nuts (10 pieces)
5. Cherry (10 pieces)
6. Cardamom powder (1/2 teaspoon)
Method:
Knead
the paneer with flour consistently for a few minutes. Heat up a pan, add sugar
and water and make sugar syrup.
Take a
small portion of the paneer and create oval shaped doughs using both hands. Dip
each piece in the sugar syrup and cover the pan and boil for 10 minutes.
Turn over
each of the paneer pieces in the pan and boil for another 5 to 6 minutes. By
this time the sugar syrup should get thickened as some of it will start to
evaporate as it boils slowly.
Decorate
with cherry and nuts.
