Non-Veg: Mustard Rui

 Ingredients and Quantity (or Amount)

1.    Rui fish (500 grams)

2.    Plain yogurt (200 grams)

3.    Turmeric (1 tablespoon)

4.    Green chili (5 pieces)

5.    Kalo Jeera (1 tablespoon)

6.    Salt (to taste)

7.    Oil (200 grams)

8.    Mustard paste (4 tablespoons)

Method:

Wash the fish and then marinate with yogurt, turmeric, mustard paste, salt, crushed green chili and oil. Marinate for ½ hour.

Cook for 20 minutes in slow heat. Heat another pan and add oil. When oil is really hot add kalo jeera and pour the oil on the cooked fish. Cook for 2 more minutes on slow heat.

Serve the fish on hot rice.
