Non-Veg: Egg Monanza

Ingredients and Quantity (or Amount)

1. Egg (5 pieces)

2. Corn Flour (4 tablespoons)

3. Flour (4 tablespoons)

4. Onion (1 medium sized)

5. Capsicum (1 piece)

6. Soy Sauce (2 tablespoons)

7. Chili Sauce (2 tablespoons)

8. Tomato Sauce (2 tablespoons)

9. Oil (1/2 cup)

10. Ginger (1 tablespoon)

11. Garlic (4 pieces)

12. Vinegar (1 tablespoon)

13. Salt (to taste)

14. Butter (1/2 stick)

Method

Crack 5 eggs in a bowl and add a little salt and beat well. 

Spread butter on a microwavable pan and pour the eggs on it and bake for 6 to 7 minutes until spongy. Let it cool down. 

When cool, cut into square or rectangular pieces and set aside. 

Start mixing flour, corn flour and water in a bowl. 

Put the pan on heat. Add oil. When the oil is hot, deep fry each egg piece after dipping them in the flour and corn flour batter. The frying is done when each piece turns golden brown. 

Put a skillet on heat and add oil. Add crushed ginger, garlic and onion. Fry for 2 minutes and add cut up pieces of capsicum. Fry for 1 minute and add soy sauce, chili sauce, tomato sauce, vinegar and one cup of hot water. 

Mix 2 tablespoons of corn flour with cold water in a cup. Add the mix into the pan. Add the fried egg pieces in the pan and mix well with care so that the pieces don’t break. 

Serve with chowmein.
