Non-Veg: Bhapa Ilish (Hilsa)
Ingredients and Quantity (or Amount)
1. Hilsa Fish (8 pieces)
2. Mustard paste (3 tablespoons)
3. Mustard oil (3 tablespoons)
4. Green Chilies (4 pieces)
5. Turmeric (1 teaspoon)
6. Salt (to taste)
Method
In an airtight box aluminum or stainless steel, mix the Hilsa fish with mustard paste, turmeric, salt, green chili (slit them) and mustard oil.
Close the box with flour paste.
Choose a large pan and add water with the box inside the pan and then cover the pan.
Cook for half an hour. Fish will be cooked in its own juice.
Serve with white rice.
