Veg: Pau Bhaji

 Ingredients and Quantity (or Amount)

1.    Pau Bhaji Round Bread (8 pieces)

2.    Potato (2 pieces)

3.    Cauliflower (1 medium sized)

4.    Onion (2 medium sized)

5.    Garlic / Ginger Paste (2 tablespoons)

6.    Beans (1/2 cup)

7.    Bell pepper (2 pieces)

8.    Carrot (2 pieces)

9.    Tomato (2 pieces)

10. Cilantro (1 bunch)

11. Green chili (4 pieces)

12. Salt (1 tablespoon)

13. Sugar (1 tablespoon)

14. Turmeric (1/2 tablespoon)

15. Coriander powder (1 tablespoon)

16. Butter (50 grams)

17. Lemon (1 piece)

18. Pau Bhaji Masala (1 packet)

19. Oil (2 tablespoons)

Method:

Cut all the vegetable into very small pieces and wash them. Chop up the onions.

Heat the pan and add oil in it. Fry the onions until brown. Then ad all the vegetable. Add Garlic / Ginger paste, turmeric, salt, sugar, coriander powder. Add 2 cups of water and boil for few minutes. Then add pau bhaji masala.

When the vegetable is all well boiled, add cilantro leaves and butter.

Cut the bread, spread butter and fry on a hot pan – both sides.

Serve he pau bhaji and hot bread.

Garnish with lemon juice and onions.
