Dessert: Mango Sandesh
Ingredients (For 8 sandesh)
- Paneer (250 grams)
- Soft Khoa Khir (250 grams)
- Sugar (200 grams)
- Cardamom Powder (1/2 tablespoon)
- Dry Mango Slices or Aamsotto (16 slices)
- Rose Water (1/4 tablespoon)
Method
Mix paneer and sugar together and put it in a pan on low heat. When sugar and paneer are well mixed, add khoa khir and cardamom powder and cook for 6 minutes. Add rose water. Mix well and turn off the heat. Let the mix cool. Then take the mixture and make 16 ball shaped lumps. Press each lump with the palm of your hands and make them into thick flat oval shapes. Then add a slice of mango (or aamsotto) between two such oval shaped mixes and add one slice of mango on top. Repeat the same thing with the remaining mix and create 8 mango sandesh.
